E-Benifits Is Now Shut Down

Question

E benifits is now shut down tell furher notice effective 14:4 pm October 7. There well be no updates or to be able to access. I guess the VA call centers are going next. There computers are now down-agent says system down. I wonder why?

Good points! Just read Shinseki's testimony from this morning's hearing in the House. Sounds like ROs are still operating afterall, but at a slower pace due to an increased number of furloughed employees. They are to continue processing claims until funding is exhausted toward the end of the month. Of course, without a funding bill getting passed, none of us will receive our disability compensation on 01 November.

Does appear, though, that the VA is no longer willing to pay for building services for VSOs until full funding is restored.

Just checked eBenefits...it's back up. I found it down earlier in the day, too. Of course, my claim didn't move an inch...
