yes i am absolutely positive it's PTSD it is the only thing that matches up with all my symptoms. It's what the VA orginally thought i had, but didn't know i had trauma before. so now they just have me down as pretty much bi-polar with psychosis and insomnia and unknown. honestly i thought i just went crazy and started hearing voices i never put two and two together until recently because it took so long for me to have symptoms. but those who will get PTSD from just being homeless won't have any symptoms until they get a home. And i can honestly say i feel better when i am homeless i have very few symptoms when i have nowhere to go. but i know i shouldn't want that for myself.

well here is what it is.

i was homeless before i joined, and had some life threaten dehumanizing circumstances.

well with homeless PTSD the PTSD doesn't occur until after the person gets a home.

which is why i was fine through boot and with my barracks. but when i got up in rank enough to get a house is when my whole head just fell apart. I mean i really sound like an ass here. i now ask them for money for making me financially stable. how dare they.. :-/? it doesn't seem right, but i definitely don't want to repeat my adolescent life. i guess i am more caught in a turmoil now because the military was good to me and it's like i'm throwing them under the bus

Where ever on earth did you get the information above in red from

or

how do you draw that conclusion?

Has a mental health provider ever written this down for you ?
