Navy04 Posted December 11, 2013 Author Share Posted December 11, 2013 My brother's lawyer ended up being worthless. I called about a month ago, and the Lawyer had not even submitted claim to SSA. Their secretary just retired from the SSA after 37 years. She informed me to go ahead and submit claim online, and if I win, I will just have to give Lawyer money, which is fine for me. So I have spent the last month mailing in Medical and Work history packets that the SSA requested. Getting evidence together, DRs are typing letters for me, I just found out today about the RFCs. I printed them and will give to DRs next week to fill out. I am having to learn a lot about SSDI the last few weeks thanks to the great people on Hadit.
