Smk Comp And Overall Rating

if you are awarded smk for a condition such as erectile dysfunction , do you still get a rating like 10 percent that goes into the rest of your schedule of ratings. ?

for instance im at 60 percent, if they award the erectile dysfunction will I then be at 70? or does the SMK rating not affect schedular ratings at all

You get a 0% rating for ED, and then an award for SMC that is something like 98.00 a month. Unless, of course, you are rated SC for ED, at 0%, but then denied SMC.....? Not sure how that happened with me, but that's what they did. SO, for the last almost 3 years ive had that on appeal.

it seems to fall under, LOSS OF CREATIVE ORGAN., i guess they had to lump it in with something. never thought of it as creative, but I guess it creates if u think abt it.

From what im finding out sex hormones are made by adrenal glands, ok, so half of my adrenal gland was removed due to service connected cancer, consequently. , since surgery, ED has manifested. So I wonder how that will work , if they will also rate it under residuals of endocrine dysfunction.

SMC K pays 101.50 now. Last year, 2013 it was $100. Also to the OP. A paid 60% rating + an additional 10% rating doesn't always equal 70%.

Ha, so they raised it a few dollars. Good for them, I guess. According to the combined chart, 60% and 10% would be 64%, so rounded down you would still be at 60%.
