marinejay
@ Meghp0405. The VA wanted me to go back and do another exam concerning the ED. ON 01.14.14, I had a C&P exam for my ED (again, and not with a psyc), my back (increase) and nerves (my guess for sciatica which they denied back in nov 13). Since my back is getting worse and the va said on my exam back in Jul, 12 that it was getting better, they called me back for this exam. Based on the exam and what i told the doc, i think i may get an increase to 30 or 40% for the back and approved for the ED since i've been on meds for over a yr. My fight with the va has been a long fight, but it was worth it, i've learned alot fighting for my disability. I still have to apply for my sleep apnea, (i was diagnosed within a yr time period after i got out. Wish me luck on that. Thanks everyone.
marinejay
congratulations! I'm a little confused on the C/P exam for ED. Normally, the reviewer will look at your records and see if you had been diagnosed with ED and how long you been on medication. If its been longer than 6 months, it's considered chronic and is approved. Your going to have to let us know how your C/P exam goes.... My exam went pretty good, concerning my back, I basically told him my symptoms which are documented in my record and for my ED, he asked 1 question which was do you need the viagra to use your tool and i said basically yes. I dont know if that guarantees instant approval or the va may deny me SMC-K b/c of that. I will keep you updated.
iceturkee
That's great news. To me 30% isn't y he bottom. I started at 0% ten years ago and have clawed my way up to 40%. I'm happy you are finally being compensated correctly. Way to go the full 12 rounds still standing i started at 10 percent in 1988 after i was medically discharged from the navy. it took me 17 years to get that to 40. and then only a few after that o get to 60 and then unemployable.
