Mont36
You can get fee basis chiropractor care. I received it and wasn't service connected for my back but shortly after the treatment, I was awarded 40% for my back. The VA did give me 12 approved treatments for the chiropractor fee basis. Just let your primary doctor know that you are in need of this to help improve or better manage your condition and they will have to adhere to it. Good luck. TiredCoastie
Oh yeah, bet money on that one. They will try to take care of their own and pretend all is grand. It's only when you push the right chanels do you yield results. That's why you've got to be ready to get to the Ombudsman ASAP if things are moving fast enough. If that doesn't work, you may need to connect with VAMC leadership.

ArNG11
How does the fee based care work, does the doctor give me some kind of form to give to a provate chiropractor promising the va will foot the bill? let me know what they tell you. I have had a terrible time getting any concrete answers.
