Prep For Notification To Gathering Evidence

Rate this question

Steve H

Question

My claim has been in the prep for notification phase for a week or so, today it went back to gathering of evidence. I checked the AB8 letter and it says ive been awarded 100%, no brownie in the mail and peggy is retarded, how accurate is this?

Watching ebenefits will drive you nuts. It is not reliable or up to date. Keep checking your direct deposit account for your retro. I received my retro before I received my brown envelope.

I have never heard of an AB letter being inaccurate but I am sure it is possible. My first notice that I had received a 100% P & T rating was when I read my AB8 and AB3 letters. Hopefully you will get that brown envelope in the next few days.

The same exact thing happened to another vet on here a few weeks ago.

Sure enough he got a letter in the mail days later confirming a 100% as shown on the AB8 letter.

The status showed gathering of evidence for him because some issues were deferred, or put aside to be decided later.

Congratulations!
