i received my award letter today. i was a 50% vet but now it says i m an 80% the lettrr says eff dat 06/09/2006. so my

question is do i receive back pay feom 06. i was married with with 3 kids. them i will receive smc from 01/07~04/07. will they back pay me.

Congradulations on the increase. Yes you should get retro back to the effective date but if you're retired military they'll need to do an audit which may take a while.

Congrats, and yes bud, you will get the Retro back to 2006, but only for the difference from 50-80%. God Bless
