Your rating shows 100%, so you should qualify for dental and travel. The rate is 41.5 cents/mile round trip for appointments. The math comes out to about $75 or so bucks, not counting a possible deducted deductible.

Be sure to let the puppet at the clinic desk know you get travel so they can (hopefully) have the travel voucher ready to go by the time they finish. Be sure to sign it right away!

Your VA clinic might have a travel office/secure box to drop off the voucher or you might have to mail it in. The VAMC cashiers at my location used to cash the vouchers right away, but the VA moved to a system where they mail you a check or direct deposit it. I heard some locations might pay on the spot, but not sure. At my VAMC, the first 3 visits per calendar month are subject to a deductible of like $6 or $8, but after that they pay in full. Wanted you to be aware that you might not get paid right away.

Good luck! Hope this helps!

Good link JT.

Always remember that the travel deductible is just an excuse to rip us off :lol:
