Navy04: Right you are! If you've got a DX that can be SC as direct, aggravated or Secondary, I believe in filing right away. I did (2) Secondary FDC's earlier this year, realized I screwed the Pooch on 1st, wrong causative SC condition. File another FDC within 2 months, got the 1st denial and subsequently received the SC Award from 2nd claim about a month later.

Some might say I'm opening myself up for a possible SC reduction. I prefer to view it as backing up and strengthening my SC position. When the VA reviews your SC Disability Picture, more is always better than less. At least from my point of view.
