Question

Well I went on Ebennies today and I am now in the Preparation for Notification! I am so thankful! My journey has been exhausting but so worth it. I hope that it finished soon! Here is my timeline for anyone interested:

May 2013 - Initial Claim for 17 contentions

June 2013 - Claim shows as accepted

July 2013 - 3 C&P's are ordered to include a General C&P exam; Audiology Exam; Ophthalmology Exam

Aug 2013 - GOE phase

Dust bunnies for the rest of the year

June 2014 - Review of Evidence

June 2014 - GOE but not before being partially S/C 40%

June 2014 - MH Walk-In Appointment

July 2014 - Received a call from a Women's Coordinator at RO office that I need to amend my claim to include PTSD (Secondary to Personal Assault). I uploaded all documents as requested through Ebennies

Aug 2014 - Received all new documents

Oct 2014 - Preparation for Decision - Notified Woman's Coordinator never had C&P exam for MH. She contacted Rater

Oct 2014 - C&P Exam for MH (Anxiety/Eating Disorder) & PTSD (Secondary for personal assault)

Oct 2014 - Read C&P Exam - looked good except for one issue that the examiner felt I did not have PTSD but rather "other mental disorder"

Oct 2014 - MH therapy appointment - my therapist disagreed with C&P Examiner and stated I did have PTSD. I noticed this in MyHealthyVet notes. I contacted my woman's coordinator as I was now in Preparation for Decision.

Nov 2104 - I went back to GOE and the rater ordered VA notes from my VA facility. Records received by Rater on 11/08/2014

Nov 8 - 2014 Went to Pending Decision Approval

Today!!! I am in Preparation For Notification!!!

I believe you are YOUR OWN BEST ADVOCATE!!!! I think the most recent therapy notes along with my C&P Exam will help secure my S/C for my Eating Disorder and my PTSD/MST.
