Need Help! Brand New To The Ilp, Don't Wanna Get Chewed Up And Spit Out.

Hi there! Ive recently been denied voc rehab after being deemed not feasible for a vocational goal. My counselor discouraged me from applying for Independent living program.

What should I expect during this ilp process? How do you work with a counselor who does not want to work with you?

Break it down Barney style for me pls :)

If Voc Rehab denies a veteran and documents that their SC conditions made Voc Rehab unfeasible, they should apply for TDIU.

They need documentation from Voc Rehab and that is often not in the med recs or C file.

What % of comp do you get now for your SC MH issue?

 I have filed for tdiu and that was one of the reasons the counselor cited when she found me not feasible for a vocational goal. Thanks for the reply :)

I don't know much about the ILP but from what I've read on hadit it's one of the most confusing programs at the VA.
