Notification From Dav Claim Approved But Ebenefits Still Pending Decision Approval?

Rate this question

Question

I received a letter from the DAV stating they reviewed the VA's decision and awarded 30% for the claim. Well that was on February 11th and today February 20th ebenefits is still showing pending decision approval.

How many have had something like this before?

Enenefits finally changed today. But instead of complete it went back in review.

What was my DAV rep thinking when he sent me the notification telling me stating he reviewed the VA's decision and they awarded me 30% for the claim.

Oh wait I see his disclaimer "this letter is not intended to serve as your official notification from the VA".

Yeah, and the big wig didn't like what he saw so he kicked it back for a change. It happens. Hopefully it means they're getting your decision more right than less.

Agree that the notice you got from DAV was from a review of the preliminary decision. That's more than I ever got out of a VSO.

Well I feel they had it right the first time. The claim was for IBS and the reviewer rated it for 30% at least that is what my DAV rep notified me of. Heck maybe this guy is trying to find a way to make a higher rating for me since thy send me diapers every month. Oh wait! maybe he is trying to find a way to reduce it instead to compensate for the diapers they send. Anyway it goes I feel I will get the short end of the stick as always. I'm dealing with the VA. (Now I am starting to sound like so many others on this forum. Posting in a comical and negative way).
