Question

we just had a C&P exam done a few days ago by VES. I see a lot of you guys/gals posting the examiners C&P findings and was wondering if anyone knows how to go about getting a copy of the exam before the decision is made?

thank you very much for your help

If you have a premium Ebenefits account, you can view all notes there.  If you don't want to use ebenefits, you can go to the VA and have them print our your records and the notes will be in there...

I dont think that will work with VES since it's a 3rd party you have to do a freedom of information request??

you usually cant get the exam notes in myhealthevet blue button if it was a contractor doing it.

Try the following.

1) C-File.  if you havent gotten your C-file already file a form 3288 for it.  if you have hten file another form 3288 for anything in your C-File that was put in after the date you got it the last time.

2) Call the contractor they had you with and request your medical records from them.  they may or may not do this...

3) File a Form 10-5345 "request for medical records" from the VAMC you go to.  they may have it in their medical records.
