I filled one out a few years ago to get me started with the VA for medical benefits. Since at the time I was not S/C for any disabilities I was in a Group 8 I believe and then after finally having all my claims processed I now have full medical with the VA.

I don't think this form is for a Means Test

Ok, thanks. I received one in the mail today, still do not have a rating, and I have TriCare. I saw it mentioned in conjunction with Means info, but was unsure if they were combined somehow. I will fill it out and send it in. I had entered the TriCare stuff online, I thought, but maybe they need it in this format. I guess I will enter the financial, even though exempt, since I am in bankruptcy and I don't see how that could "hurt me" somehow. Normally, I don't like throwing that info around, but I guess my credit is already destroyed at this point.

its application for applying for health Benefits with the VA or update your information!

You can call this number and they can go over it with you and then they will send it to you to sign and mail it back.

Thanks. I wanted to make sure they weren't using forms dual-purpose or something. When I was searching for more info on the particular form, I kept running into discussions about means tests. I am assuming that it is a standard part of the claims process, then.

The 10-10ezr form can be used to update financial statues of the veteran. It was used to determine if a non S/C was above Means Test Threshold, however, the VA is getting away from using the 10-10ezr and going to start using what the veteran files with the IRS.
