Evidence Submission Return Receipts

Rate this question

Question

i have been submitting all of my evidence, NOD's, C File requests to the VA (since i started studying at University of Hadit & asknod) with certified mail & return receipt.

I have sent the following

1) NOD

2) Request for C File (to Records management Center)

3) 2nd Request for C File (To Claims intake center)

I had also sent 2 FOIA requests to USMC HQ for various unit records to help support my TBI claim since i have no SMR/SR evidence of the IED that i was hit with.

I got the two return receipts from USMC HQ however i have received NONE from the VA...at all. all the certified tracking numbers do show delivery etc and i HAVE received correspondence in relation to my NOD and 1st request for my C File to the Records management center (not the second to the claims intake center) so they did get it and processed the requests/information in them. However i find it odd that i would not receive the return receipt back and am wondering if you all have had the same issues?

I know that there is a way to back trace the certified mail through the USPS and get the signing info, however i find it sketchy that the VA wouldnt fill out the required return receipt. that and i paid good money for those to have proof.

I always receive my return receipts. You can contact the PO where you mailed the items. In fact you can probably do it online, these days. And, if you can't read the signature, you can request that the USPS get a readable name!! You paid, dearly, for that service
