0 Navy04
I think that we all deal with that most days, I feel that when we wake up, we are either in the Zone or Fog, with nothing in between!!! 100% PTSD 100% Back 60% Bladder Issues 50% Migraines 30% Crohn's Disease 30% R Shoulder 20% Radiculopathy, Left lower 10% Radiculopathy, Right lower 10% L Knee 10% R Knee Surgery 2005&2007 10% Asthma 10% Tinnitus 10% Damage of Cranial Nerve II 10% Scars SMC S SMC K OEF/OIF VET 100% VA P&T, Post 911 Caregiver, SSDI
0 bionoce
I don't know if it's some kind of dissociation thing but like you said some days it's as soon as waking up till time to sleep. Intrusive and obsessive thoughts.
0 TALON II FE
I get that "third person" perspective like you aren't really there often, too, like you are just an observer. I can usually pull out of it when I recognize it by changing surroundings for a few minutes, like stepping out on the porch and "actually" observing, just watch the birds, scan the area (I can't break that one), watch the clouds or something. Once I get away from people and just observe nature or whatever for a few minutes I can usually snap out of it. I don't know if this is the same as what you mean, though. 0 Moderator broncovet Posted July 3, 2015 Moderator Share Posted July 3, 2015 There are herbs that help. For example: http://www.westernbotanicals.com/article/Herbs-for-Focus-and-Mental-Clarity There are even foods which help: http://www.lifehack.org/articles/lifestyle/10-superfoods-that-increase-memory-and-improve-mood.html Of these, I like: Ginko Phosphytidyl Choline and phosphytidyl Sterine Tumeric (taken with pepper to aid absorbtion) Magnesium ( many americans are magnesium deficient)
0 bionoce
Thanks guys. Lately I feel extra disconnected from reality. Not psychotic, just not there.
