How Do I Get Updated C-File

Rate this question

USMC_VET

Question

Question is simple.

If i have already received my c-file in the past, but new claims/appeals have appeared since then how can i request only those documents?

I know you have to pay (or im led to believe) to get a copy of the info you already have but the VA still provides any new information, etc for free via your request.

Anyone have any experience, what to write in 3288 to stipulate this, etc.

It seems you have answered your question, my friend. I requested a copy of mine in writing and stated I only wanted records from X date forward, where X date was after the last record date in the initial C-file I received.

I just wanted to check and see if anyone had any experience with this, thats what i was going to do, but if someone had run into issues or found you need to stipulate something different for the same result...

If they could just digitzie the dang thing keep it real time as things are added, and put it up on ebennies like your ompf to download as you saw fit. another nice feature would be to show WHO currently is reading it, has read it and what VARO etc they are at so you can see where its at in the process!
