Question

OK, this is the information that I have now, I have been denied for head injury/tbi.  so please help me understand this If you can.  Do it look like the doctor said that it is direct service connected, but they think the etiology is something else.

It does not look good, but you should read the whole exam and see if it has the magic words:  Veterans TBI is at least as likely as not due to xx event in military service.

Did you have "another" incident that possibly caused TBI, such as a car wreck?   You need to wait for the decision, but you will likely have to appeal, and challenge this exam.  Ask to see his/her credentials.  Go over the exam with a fine tooth comb.  Are they experienced in TBI?  Are they an MD?  Phd?  Nurses Aid,  Boy scout leader?

What about your other docs?  Surely you dont just have one.  What did their exams say?
