Error code 50

Question

My claim has been changing all day! Prep for decision 2 days ago, then to gathering evidence at 12pm, review, to now when I try to log in I get the below message and can't access at all? Why would this happen?

Error Code [50]:We have located your DEERS record; however, it appears there may be invalid information on file. You may contact the DMDC/DEERS Support Office (DSO) at 800-538-9552 for assistance. To best assist you, please call when you are at a computer if possible.

It would go all the way back to review of evidence because that is a status that is not a critically measured status by upper management each day. Upper management being the RO Director, Asst Director, VSCM (Veteran service center manager), and AVSCM's (asst service center managers).

They answer to VA Central Office and they don't want anything sticking out like a sore thumb to draw attention.

It may not need "more" evidence at all. It may just be a case of someone not including evidence that is already available for the case. They will reverse the status just to keep the case out of the spotlight until it's corrected.
