Heart Conditions DBQ.pdf

According to VA Rating Manual,,, "0" METS Equal a 100% I think item 2.b  the "Yes" Box should be checked; also YES for 2-d. and the DR. should have indicated Mets of"0"  in item 14.F   and 15 should be Yes?

I think you should go to the VASRD:

http://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/text-idx?SID=e01889934e16ee0751373657d3b13a6e&mc=true&tpl=/ecfrbrowse/Title38/38cfr4_main_02.tpl

And check the rating criteria that compares to your specific diagnostic code, just in case you need it.

But I do see what you mean as to the 100% and the doctor stated this disability has rendered you unable to work.

I just hope the VA does not confuse the 100% statement with the >3-5 METs part.

Hopefully this will go well for you and the doc made the proper nexus statement.

Team,

I appreciate your feedback. I noticed at the beginning of page one that he put the following information:

- Medication- noted Digoxin, Metoprolol, and Dilitiazem

Veteran is not able to work due to recurrent SVT

His METs are zero due to his recurrent syncopes

Veteran states that his palpitations are constant, not intermittent
