Carl the Engineer
"O, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive" Walter Scott Just think of the family members and Veterans that he embarrassed with his web. He probably road in a couple parades and is the Commander of his local Legion.. Just sayin, Hamslice
Carl the Engineer
"According to court documents, Doyle Mullins, 71, spent more than 20 years claiming he was “totally and permanently blind.” As a result, since 1995, the VA paid him more than half a million dollars. The payments came in lumps of thousands of dollars per month and included medical benefits payments for his wife and grants from the VA for a car and adaptive housing." Ok, I can see the "adaptive housing" for being blind, but how does a blind guy get a car...? Hamslice
Jimmer
How does this happen? I have 80% disability for my eyes, and I had four different eye specialists, that wrote "nexus letters" verifying it was service connected, which was documented in my SMR's. I also had a C & P eye exam, that lasted over five hours, as they gave me every test available to verify my eye injury. They rated me 60%, then a few months later "CUED" themselves and gave me 80%. Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Vync Posted January 14, 2019 Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Share Posted January 14, 2019 Quote Mullins told the VA he was unable to drive, work or perform household tasks, but he was observed by detectives driving, mowing his lawn, running errands, and banking.
