Question

I am currently receiving SMC M for service connected disabilities... I just filed claim for secondary deceases.. I have IHD and recently had  open heart surgery for valve replacements. I also have kidney decease which is stage 4 and they are both related to my service connected diabetes disability. I submitted doctors  letters to verify that both disibilites. They are both agent orange related... Do I qualify for an increase, if so where does that place me... Thank you in advance for your help...

yes you should qualify go ahead and file those secondary conditions.

even if your SMC M, let the VA Figure out how they will rate you on these other conditions..it could boost you on up the SMC TRAIL depending how bad these new conditions are?

I am not an Attorney or VSO, any advice I provide is not to be construed as legal advice, therefore not to be held out for liable BUCK!!!
