Al329
Sorry this might be a simple question ... I requested a copy of my medical records from the national archives. Waited three months for a letter saying they don't have them. I don't have a copy and this is my first time at a VA claim. So question, what happens if they don't have a copy of my records? I would that affect any claims? ETS'ed from Army in 97. Thanks!
0 HadIt.com Elder Buck52 Posted January 10, 2019 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted January 10, 2019 you might try requesting your records at your last duty station or from your old Unit, also request your C-file most of your records will be in it or should but not always...you won't know until you get your C-File And search it .....> its a lot easier now that they are on CD . Also you might trying email this lady MaryAnn.Wentzel1@va.gov request your C-file and any and all records she can get you STRs /Military Medical Records But Most of your Military Records you should get at the St Louis Records Personal Center....send another request to them.
