Hi, I am asking for help for a friend that has a meeting with the VA on Wednesday. She receives DIC. Her husband died from an affliction that is service related. He served for more than 30 years, they were married for nearly 40 years and still married at the time of death.
She wishes to attend college in her ancestral country of the Philippines using educational benefits. Her concern is whether or not this will affect her DIC in an adverse way. Does anyone have experience on this topic. Any ad ice will be greatly appreciated...thanks in advance.
