Yes SS and VA will pay together as long as it is SSD and not SSI. Also VA has to be Disability and not a pension.

You can receive SSDI and VA Comp at the same time without any offset from either. Both are non taxable except if you get a hugh amount of taxable earnings then one half of your SSDI could become taxable. When you apply for SSDI you can use your VA S/C disabilities along with your non VA S/C to apply for SSDI. You can use any copies of Medical records from the VA to send with your application for SSDI. Apply for SSDI as soon as possible, it can be quick or can be a long process to get approval.
