Rivet62
I would like the VERA system to work, instead of throwing errors, to schedule a virtual appointment with my VARO. The San Diego VARO offers virtual appointments. How nice. https://benefits.va.gov/sandiego/ My VARO offers this, and the VERA page is the same. So, I guess no matter where they may be there's the VERA option. Nice if it worked. Has anyone gotten this to work? https://vets.force.com/VAVERA/s/ Edited January 25, 2022 by Rivet62
0 Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Vync Posted January 27, 2022 Content Curator/HadIt.com Elder Share Posted January 27, 2022 @GBArmyis correct. When new services are rolled out, they don't always tend to be available instantly at all locations. Some services are also being offered as trial sites to weigh the potential effectiveness for other regions. A great example is from when I was trying to get my VA health records on CD. My VAMC said it is not possible, so I had to make visits to the VAMC's release of information office and get printouts. However, 5+ years ago, I think it might have been @*Bergie*out in California who let us know that his VAMC was providing CDs. I got with my VAMC patient advocate and had them check with his VAMC and learned all about it. Less than a year later, records on CD were finally available at my VAMC. Additionally, last year I was talking with another veteran here and learned that their physical rehab therapy clinic sent him via community care for massage therapy with a CC provider. I checked with my VAMC's physical rehab therapy clinic and was told they do not offer that service. I'm still hoping that one day they will be able to refer out for that service in the future. The Birmingham VAMC used virtual appointments. They send me an email or text with a link starting with: https://veteran.apps.va.gov/go It works most of the time. Sometimes the provider just calls
