Pulmonary Disease (PACT ACT)

I have been diagnosed with a Pulmonary Lung Disease. I still have to follow up with my Dr for final diagnosis, I think.

If I file this as a PACT ACT claim, can I just send the diagnosis and breathing test results, or should I have my Dr do a DBQ as well?

Can my General Practice Dr do the DBQ or do I need a specialist to fill it out?

If it's a PACT ACT claim, do I have to do a confirmatory VA breathing test and attend a C&P exam, or will they go with my test results and possibly my Dr's DBQ?

There may still be an exam to confirm severity. PACT doesn’t say no more exams, so we still have to request them. If you send DBQs  we send to a rater to evaluate first before requesting exams.
