Has anyone heard about BVA freezing ama appeals for the rest of the year, and only adjudicating legacy appeals?

I have not heard of this. As far as I know they are still working on both but focusing on legacy appeals but they are working some AMA Appeals.

Both tiers are being worked. I don't see real time numbers, though

When I had a face to face at my Regional office in 2019 with raters there I was told that the legacy claims were going away at that office in the next 3 mo. I would guess they would transfer the ones that didn't get done to another Regional who is now specializing in them.
