yes this is a normal thing.  Really is no reason to call.  They will give some of these updates until it gets closer.

Yes I received those same email letters in my recent favorable BVA decisions within past 1 1/2 years and both were eventually approved.  I also received a follow on letters saying my appeals were advanced on the document due to my age at 76.  All appears to good and normal for you at this time. I do not see where it says AOD in this letter but may come soon in another notification. Cheers

My comment is not legal advice as I am not a lawyer, paralegal or VSO.combinedawardmedalsribbsonwithperkinswearingpurpleheartcap.png.5727849274bcf004923ab14ba3fde288.png

No reason to call but I am advanced on docket, this says otherwise.

This is just a generic email sent out to clear their inquiry queue. It really says absolutely nothing. I bet the VA sent out a lot of emails this weekend claiming they caught up on responding to veteran’s requests for status updates.

My intentions are to help, my advice maybe wrong, be your own advocate and know what is in your C-File and the 38 CFR that governs your disabilities and conditions.

Do your own homework. No one knows the veteran’s symptoms like the veteran. Never Give Up.

I do not give my consent for anyone to view my personal VA records.
