jlrith Posted July 13, 2012 Share Posted July 13, 2012 Figured I would pass this along to those who are stuck in the process: I had an outstanding claim since 2005 dealing with nerve problems secondary to a pinched sciatic nerve. At one point I was rated 10% for one nerve, out of the half dozen or so that are affected. I pursued this claim constantly and was just awarded 40% for my sciatic nerve, encompasing all of the affected nerves. Don't give up hope! And remember, it has to be adjudicated for any of the deadlines to affect your claim. They rated me on one nerve out of all the ones I specifically claimed: They never said yes or no to those claimed nerves, so it was still an open claim for all 7 years.
