C and p exam
Family please help. Don't need likes, or comment that will not help. Need someone who has suffered an amputation of a foot and has done a C&P for a SMC-L or M, ( special monthly compensation or lost of foot with the lost of use of an other extremity. Meaning hand or hands. Going in 01 May 2022. Eather code would be a life changer as i went through this Nov and have not been able to work.

Understanding how to get to SMC M
I presently have SMC L 1/2 based on a 100% rating for Lung disease, and an additional rating of 60% for my lower back. To get a half step increase from L veteran must have Other Disabilities Combine to 50% If you have separate, service-connected conditions that combine to 50 percent, then the level is bumped up to the next ½ level. That is, a veteran whose SMC condition was found in Level L would be moved up to compensation rates for Level L ½ (Level L ½ would move up to M, M to M ½, etc.). For example, say a veteran has both feet amputated (100 percent rating), arthritis in the right hand (30 percent), and PTSD (30 percent). The loss of both feet q…

diabetes SMC "M" award
Previously I was service connected for, 100% p&t for AICD implant. 100% p&t for class III kidney disease, 50% neuropathy right upper extremity, 40% neuropathy left upper extremity, 40% neuropathy right lower extremity,40% neuropathy, 30% for severe anxiety and depression, 20% type II diabetes 0% for chloracne, 0% for ED. I was rated and being paid as a 100% veteran with spouse. I had an "S" award and one "K" award. On a new rating decision dated August 2015, I was awarded Loss of use of upper right extremity and loss of use of right lower extremity.
