1151 Or C&p Moving Forward ..
Joseph Hertr Hadit 2006a Greetings fellow Hadit members, Inactive for considerable time, I have been waiting for the VA´s reply to the 1151 filed and just received the note below from the VFW VSO “mailman” assigned. More information is now trickling down. I do not know if it is regarding the 1151 or a std C&P pension exam. Anyway... I have not required a C and P physical exam for years as I was considered 100% permanent and total. All the time while carrying an ACTIVE misdiagnosed cerebral and spinal cord infection thought to be Chronic Progressive MS. That is of course while under their (VA Medical) care. After having been brought to C…

ptsd Vterans Court Of Appeals- I Don't Think I Did It Right
My PTSD case has been stricken down mainly because the service officer really screwed up and I didn't catch the errors in time. Well, I submitted to the VA that I wanted my case to goto the VA Court of Appeals and I faxed this twice..within the 120 days. Well, I was going through websites and found one for this particular court. There was a series of forms to turn in to get your case to the court. I did NOT find this site till after the 120 days and when someone read the appeal rights on the back, she didn't say anything about contacting the court so I assumed I would put this in writing to the VA. Did I screw up or will the VA get it to the Court of Appeals? K…

New Back Problems Found, How Do I File? Help Please
Good morning from Spokane fellow Vets! First off, I would like to share my appreciation for this site and to all the posters who contribute the best information I've found yet. I just just happened here today, so I'm playing catch-up trying to read all the posts! A little background on me, I served from Mar 96' to Aug 05, USAF. I filed my initial VA claim before I left the Service in June and got a rating of 30% in September. Since then I have gone to the local VA hospital here in Spokane which is excellent, and requested that my Lower back be looked into further. Now I'm not hip to the lingo to much, so I'll say it word for word from the papers, since most of you und…

My Dad Is Continuiously Denied Benefits/compensation
I saw a sticker on a car from a Vietnam Vet for this Hadit.com website and thought I would give it a try. I am writing on behalf of my father who served in Vietnam. I have tried to help him several other times, but he gets more and more frustrated with every try and each time the VA denies him compensation/benefits. It's quite a long story, but if there are any Vietnam Vets out there (God Bless You!) who have fought for VA Disability compensation after being denied, I would really like to hear from you. He's been through the appeals process several times and each time gets his hope up because the person working on his behalf at the VA tells him that "this time is it…

Dont Take This Wrong Way Friend
"Have you ever worked in a VA regional office? Also, since every case is unique, is it really necessary to tell everyone I am wrong when I tell only the rule of thumb and not the exceptions to the rule? Telling veterans the exception to the rule without details of the case can be harmful to their case. I work daily as a veterans advocate in a regional office. I see this as an awesome website, and I tell veterans about it all the time. But I see a lot of information which, in addition to the right , is wrong, half wrong, misleading, or an exception to the rule. Everyone needs to follow this site's advice to search till you find a sharp advocate. " This individual thin…
