Question

Im going to appeal the 0% migraines they gave my husband saying he was not Posrtating. We have told every Dr he has seen that he has to lay in the bed in a dark room?? Only one has said anything about it in his report.. this is what he wrote"Pt tends to turn off all the lights, reduce any noicse, lay down in bed and tries to go to sleep when he is experienceing a migraine. He also experience nausea during his migranes. He went to see the Neuro and all she said was he can't stand bright lights or noise, when i was there for the apt. and he said he had to lay down. Will one Psycologist saying he has 3-4 mig. a week and when he has them he has to lay down be enough proof? thank

There is a lot more to TBI than they VA is willing to address. When I started my claims in 1991 Agent Orange was just starting to move a full 20 years after many had symptoms.

You are just going to have to stick to your guns and in my opinion I think that you should consider getting a Lawyer to help you.

Good Luck and thank you for hanging in with your Veteran. You are much appreciated at Hadit.

Who dx his migraines? Was it a neuro doc?

Also in his claim is the word "headache" used anywhere vs the word "migraine"? I would think that would kill that claim. Don't say headache if you mean migraine...trust me, they are NOT the same.

Is he on meds for the migraines?

Lots of questions I know...just trying to help.

No thank you, when i married him it was for better or worse those vows are sacred to me, He is my heart and i could never abandon him because of things he has no control over.He was dx by a Neuro and he takes Topiramate 25mg two tablets twice a day..Sorry saying headaches is a habit i will have to break i guess.. By him saying headaches instead of migranes might be why he has a 0% Thank to all for helping me and my husband.
