  1. Funny thing you bring this up. Thursday I seen my doc in neuropain. I asked him can he give me some type of low dose pain killer. His response was "You have tramadol and that is what your going to get"....So what happened to the quality of life in dealing with pain as part of the patients rights?

So I asked him, "how much tramadol can I take per day" and his response was 2 3x a day. Well I already take that much and it has not ended its life with me. So what does he do he upped my Gabapentin to 3200mg a day. Well there goes the rest of my memory I barely have. That stuff is evil and it doesn't help much after your body gets use to it.

Oh just another add-on to this topic, I asked him what about surgery. He quickly responded by saying "Your age is stopping us from doing surgery". WTH, is somebody who is 55 more important than somebody that is 44 about to be 45? In all seriousness what does AGE have to do with the amount of pain somebody is in or doing surgery to CORRECT the issues?

Is Obamacare's socialist medicine now in affect at the VA?

  2. Can anybody else currently NOT able to upload documents in the claims section?

I was able to about a month ago and not there is noway to be able to upload documents.

Just curious to find out if I was disabled from being able to upload documents or this is a wide spread issue.

  3. Thank you 71M10...I stopped reading it last night and its just sitting here on my desk. I think I got to the 3 page and decided I had enough with reading it. I haven't even touched it today. I will read it again in a few weeks and search through it like I have done my past ones.

But I will say I am embarrassed today to even be called a Veterans that has to deal with the VA!!!! This is how they make you feel.

If the people who never served only knew how veterans are truly treated they would call it a socialist process.....

  4. IMO no ROM....And trying to get ahold of Dr. Bash is like me trying to get in to the see the President. The guy never answers none of his phones or emails. Oh well I have to go with what I got. I was hoping to be able to jump on a jet and go up to see him so he can do the ROM to rebuttal this C&P examiner's lies.....

I just hope and pray that the RO looks at previous C&Ps exams on my ROM because they would see I was honest as always. I will say I was having a real bad day that morning and I couldn't bend forward nor tilt my head. This is caused by the DDD. So the C&P examiner must have felt I was faking it. Such BS and I might call down there and complain to a supervisor to see if I can get an honest C&P exam.

  5. Okay here is a good one that I know for a fact she LIED about.

    3. Flare-ups

Does the veteran report that flare-ups impact the function of the thoracolumbar spine (back)? She answered NO. This is first a blantant lie because I have flare ups every single day. Second, she never even asked me this question whatsoever. EVER...

Next, she writes that I was able to bend 90 degrees!!!! on every sing one of them. And she said there were no painful objections during motion. AGAIN BLANTANT LIE because I complaint that I couldn't bend forward nor backwards because it hurt in the center of my back and in my legs. Again LIE. Every ROM she put the highest and NOT once did she write down the ROM nor did she record it on any device. As I read this I am getting more and more pissed. Sorry I have to go...

  6. Carlie I already have an IMO/IME and she didn't even bother reading it. Her stated of the IMO/IME that is in the CFile was "Noted"....I think I understand what is going on now after I wrote that post above. I am service connected as "Cervical Spine Pain" and "Mechanical Low Back Pain". In 2011 I filed a claim for radiculopathy in my arms and right leg and it was denied. The reason is the C&P Examiner based that the Radiculopathy can't from "Cervical Spine Pain" nor Mechanical Low Back Pain" even though I have been diagnosed with Spondylosis/Osteoarthritis with every doctor I now see and previously seen. The VA C&P examiners are not recognizing my DDD/Osteoarthritis base its not service connected. The 2011 C&P examiner stated that the radiculopathy was from the DDD/OSteoarthritis. So then is when I hired Dr. Bash and filed my NOD by DRO. Well at the same time I filed these new claims and IU. Well the RO, instead of working on my NOD, which I think is more important, decided they were going to work on the new claims and just span everything out because of time. So there is where I think everything went wrong. So, these claims will get denied basing that my issues are not related to the Cervical Spine Pain nor the Mechanical Low Back Pain.

But what I don't understand is nowhere in C&P report showing DDD/Osteoarthritus as secondary to my Cervical Spine Pain original diagnosis but on eBenefits it is part of my current claim because they seen Dr. Bash's IMO that "connected the dots".....

Does this make any sense? How can the C&P examiner base my current issues on my current SC'd diagnosis? Well they can't because it all related to the DDD but the secondary DDD claim is not even mentioned in the C&P report. This doesn't make sense.

Let me read this whole thing, again, and see if I missed the secondary DDD on the C&P report. If its on eBenefits and not in the C&P report something is correct or isn't right.

  7. And its not good. I was ripped apart by this C&P examiner. The good thing is my wife was in the room and lets just say there are things or questions on this C&P report that were answered but not by me. Meaning there are questions they are suppose to ask the veteran and are suppose to write down the response of the veteran. Not once was I ever asked these questions. Second, the C&P examiner said I had full range of motion in my neck and thoracic and lumbar. NOWAY JOSE....I couldn't bend my neck backwards, to the left nor forward that day because the pain that radiates down my right arm. I informed her that I couldn't but I tried. But she says on the report I was able to go the full ROM. I told her over and over, it must have been 5 times I couldn't move my head that morning because of the pain that shoots down my right arm. Normally I can move it except backwards. Something is causing it not to allow it to go backwards. Again wife in room and she is my witness. Third, Again like I said in previous posts that the C&P examiners purposely deceives the RO by leaving stuff out that is in the records and CFile. They only use what they want for their own good. I was expecting a nonfavorable C&P exam report but this one takes the cake. I respect doctor's final opinions on these reports, that is their jobs. But, to sit there and purposely lie like she did makes me wonder if 1. judgement was passed on my as soon as I reported for the C&P exam. 2. How many other veterans have these C&P doctors lied on the reports.

Myself, I can promise you this, I am not going to sit here and let this woman get away with this at all. Myself and my wife are writing up two individual sworn letters or on the 21-4138 forms and I am sending them to the Regional Office and I am requesting a NEW C&P Exam based on these lies and deceits this woman has done. I will express that I have a right to a truthful C&P Exam not for somebody to sit and NOT to record any of the ROM measurements whatsoever. I told JBasser about this and he said maybe she recorded it. Nope she did not record it verbally nor did she write down the measurements whatsoever. Unless that tool is connected wireless/bluetooth there is noway should could remember all them numbers. Remember neck x3 and back x3, EACH SIDE.

She lied big time and I am not going to sit here and let her get away with it. I am also going to write my senator and set up some kind of appointment with him. I am going to request to him that WE has veterans be allowed to have VIDEO cameras with us during C&P Exams. If the VA/Regional Offices are so sure these C&P exams are being done truthfully then I don't see a problem having a VIDEO Camera in the room recording the exam. Do you? If they are that truthful then why is having a camera an issue?

You will be seeing a website in the near future on all of these things I have brought up and mainly about using VIDEO Cameras during the C&P exams.

Again the "Duty to Assist" is bogus and with these C&P examiners blantantly lying on the reports is wrong and I hope they burn in hell because God and my Lord Jesus Christ are my witnesses, along with my wife to this fact.

  8. aggie54 and others,

If the VA would only do the surgery on my neck and back I probably wouldn't have any claims. Thats if the surgeries were successful of course. But after a lot of research on government websites, reading medical journals, surgery is probably too late in my case because the nerve damage is done and its there. The longer you wait to do surgery the long the nerves heal and sometimes don't even heal.

  9. Funny thing is Bay Pines in St Pete does the dd except with C&P exams. I had one there last week and was told to the next window. I went there and boom cash handed to me. Then on Friday I had a C&P down in Ft Myers VA at the brand new facility and they don't pay cash.

I don't get it!!!! The VA is screwer than anything I have seen on this travel pay stuff. Maybe the VA needs to file a MH claim!!!!

I think with homeless vets they will have to get one of those Visa Cards that you can deposit money on. That is what I am thinking...

  10. Had both my C&P exams. One from MH said I can work which doesn't make a difference to me because it's not MH I put in a IU for. Had the other C&P this past Friday and will be getting the report on Thursday, hopefully. But some good to know is that this past Friday's C&P was done by no other, an ARNP. So I am hoping Dr. Bash's IMO trumps her stuff. It better and its suppose to.

They should rename the C&P Exams to C&P denial Exams....The only favorable C&P exam I have had in what, 16-17 years now, was the MH exam a couple of years ago. The rest were unfavorable and heck I still remember my first one. I remember the Doctor (who could barely speak ENGLISH) telling me "I don't see nothing wrong with you"....Oh boy that pissed me off so bad that I didn't even go to the second one. But the VA still found evidence in my CFile to SCd me. Funny thing is these days none of the examiners see anything in the CFile for some reason. I can show you how they manipulate the CFile and purposely leave things out when its in there. Its evident the VA doesn't give a poop scoop about the veterans and this is what I have come to learn....

  11. TBird where exactly is the survey an option to using the calculator? Really think about it. Why would he invite people to his website to use that calculator? I have used many VA calculators and NONE of them than forces you to take a survey. Also, why in the world would that so called calculator need to know DOBs of your children and spouse? Sorry but I am telling the way I see it.

  12. SPAM BIG TIME!!!!!!!

And YES I know everything there is to know about websites....That website is a survey website and that link needs to be blocked or this thread deleted..

BTW Roger this isn't anything against you whatsoever but you need to forewarn people about doing a survey before hand. If you need to do this to make extra bucks then that is on you. But please don't try to trick people into doing a survey, mainly other veterans.

  13. I have had the priviledge (at my last job) to see first hand what stem cells actually do. Science has realize that all the stem cell they need is in the "afterbirth" of woman who has babies every day. My job consisted of transporting detained personal to medical appointments, to courts or even sit in hospitals. It was an easy job but all the driving was just too much on my spine. Anyway there was this one resident that was diabetic and the resident allowed a sore on his back turn gangrene and there was a hole in his back. The doctors did surgery on him to take out the gangrene then he become a test subject for the doctor's office. This company came in and applied some type of powder on the area on his back. What this powder did was to tell the body to send its own stem cells to the area where the powder was applied.

I am going to tell you that I was privilege to be able to take him back on all his follow up appointments and I couldn't believe my eyes. After about 4-6 weeks you could not tell he even had a hole in his back, surgery or anything was ever wrong. His own stem cells were able to grow back the tissue and regenerate everything like it was new.

I talked with the rep of the company and he told me that they were able to actually grow back a finger from the first joint like it was new. I was stunned.

Now after reading the linked article I am hoping this is true and is able to be done. People with Osteoarthritis can have new cartilage generated in their spine.

  14. Well I got my C&P MH exam reports this morning. Of course she rejected my IU claim but I didn't file IU based on MH but on my physical issues. I told her that. I also had my C&P denial exam this morning, it went okay. Thats the new name for these exams "C&P denial exams" because thats all they do.

But I will say her voice did crackle a little whenever I said I had an IMO from a Doctor in Maryland. I am thinking she is a NP or AP.

  15. One down this past Tuesday and one more to go tomorrow. I thought the MH was worst this time than the first one, not of the exam from the MH worker but myself. I couldn't remember a turd and my wife had to help. Its the medication causing the memory issues.

Hopefully they will let me wife go in again tomorrow but I am not expecting it to happen since it my physical claims. Oh well that is going to hurt them more because of my memory.

  16. Anxiety and Pannic Attacks go hand in hand. Trust me on this one because I am SCd for Anxiety and the C&P examiner said I would have panic attacks. They are related and are considered the same thing.

BTW you are allowed to carry anything in with you that helps you remember stuff. Ebenefits or myhealthevet even says to keep a ledger. If the C&P examiner ever asks you about what you read, you tell him its a ledger and the VA requests a ledger to be used.
