1- Were these ID'd before you left the Navy?

2-If so, where they identified in your original C&P Exam before you left service?

If yes/yes, I would attempt direct SC for all of it, because it was all ID'd before you were discharged. If it existed before you were out, and it is detailed, then it is a direct SC, even if it is a condition that was secondary to another SC condition.

So, when did you get out?

pwrslm (Chief), these diagnoses were when I was on active duty. There was notes from my Service Medical Records. It was lD'd before I was discharged. I was discharged from active duty "97. The C and P examiner did a Gulf War Exam("17), and determined, Direct Service Connection for Migraines. And, two other conditions secondary to conditions I'm already service connected for, now. I have submitted claims in, for all of them. I am presently 80%. Thank You for your Help. God Bless.

  2. Okay, Thank You Chief...

    Should I File on this...?

EROSIVE GASTRITIS of the GASTRIC CARDIA is a Secondarily Service Connected Condition as a result of Service Connected HIATAL HERNIA, within the my  Gastoresphoageal reflux disease (gerd)...Rationale: Service treatment records via VBMS, Civilian Treatment Records, Laboratory reports via VBMS AND CPRS as well Examiners Clinical Experience

    Should I file on this....?

Vasovegal syndrome causing syncopal episodes-12 Times per year affecting employability is a secondarily caused service connected condition...Rationale: Service Treatment Records via VBMS, CPRS, Laboratory Evaluations In-service as well as via CPRS as well as Examiners Clinical Experience.

Should I file on this, as well...?

    Headaches:

    b. Does the veteran have very prostrating and prolonged attacks of migraines/non-migraine pain productive of severe economic inadaptability? Yes.

Opinion: Migraine Headache is the DIRECT RESULT OF GULF WAR MILITARY SERVICE.

RATIONALE: CPRS AS WELL AS EXAMINERS CLINICAL EXPERIENCE.

So do I have a case, concerning all of these C and P examiners Opinion and Rationale? Please Reply, Thank You.

Certainly you should file a claim on both of these conditions. But did the examiners give a medical rationale for their conclusions?

At 90% now, are you still employed?

Yes, the C and P examiner gave a rationale for both of the conditions citing service medical records (smr) and his years of practice in medicine....my exam took nearly three hours. Yes Ma'am, I'm still working, because I have a family to support. But, working in the sun all day and migraine headaches don't mix....Thank  You for your reply!

  4. Hello fellow Veterans, I am trying to figure out, if I can pursue a couple of service connection claims, that I was examined for during my C and P exam/ Persian Gulf exam. The first one is Esophageal Conditions: It states EROSIVE GASTRITIS OF THE GASTRIC CARDIA IS A SECONDARILY SERVICE CONNECTED CONDITION AS THE RESULT OF SERVICE CONNECTED HIATAL HERNIA. Do I file a claim for this diagnosis from my C and P exam/ Persian Gulf Exam? This was the diagnosis from the C and P examiner!

Second One is for MIGRAINES....The Opinion was MIGRAINE HEADACHES IS THE DIRECT RESULT OF GULF WAR MILITARY SERVICE....stated by the C and P examiner. Do I file a claim on this one as well?

  5. Update: I received a phone call from the regional office in St. Petersburg, florida with an apology and that my claim was being expedited asap. And then not believing none of that, I looked at my ebenefits webpage and it is true, I am 90% now. My lawyer called me affirming that my retro would be coming in days. You know he is thrilled too. So the email to the Honorable undersecretary is valid and it could turn your situation around instantly. I BELIEVE. Hadit.com, is the BEST. Information on this website is on point!

  6. Remember vets, NO SOLDIER LEFT BEHIND, and I am a witness that if you use the advice from this website, you will be looking pretty good, if you have won your appeal and you need the right information, to get action. Well, this is the one to check out and tell all vets, that have pending appeals backdated for years. I won my appeal and took the advice given to me, and now I am 90% and looking for an increase. This website isn't for Ultimate Fighting rants. Remember, we are all working to get what has been selfishly held back from us, Our service-connection Award.

    Respectfully,

  7. Update; Good evening comrades, I looked at my ebenefits' account today in the VA letters section and to my amazement I am now 90%. Wow, and just think I only been on hadit.com for just under a week, and got perfect information, to pursue my due award from winning my appeal back in July 2014. I am truly grateful for the information from everyone on hadit.com website. Now, for anyone, who is struggling to get their voice heard, go to Thadine on this website and get an early Christmas gift. All can say is WOW!

  8. I would like to say, to all, please do your research on hadit.com, because it is the best resource for pinpoint information. I can say, I emailed the Madam Undersecretary Hickey the other morning, thinking this was all non-sense. But, that evening I received an email from Madam Undersecretary herself. Now, if you don't believe she is on the job, answering emails and directing her employees to resolve the issues asap. Well, just email her for yourself. It is real and she is serious! A special THANK YOU to hadit.com and all vets and especially Thadine, for the advice, to email the Undersecretary, just to see what happens. A what happen was a reply! The ball is moving, for real. Thank God !

  9. free_spirit_etc, It is July 2014 is when I received the big yellow envelope from the bva stating I had won my appeals. Thanks for your reply. I haven't received a letter from the regional office yet, like you stated. My regional office is in St. Petersburg, Florida. Yes, it has been 7 months and no letter. I am waiting until the end of February 2015. Then I will need to seek some kind of divine or legal help at the regional office. I will talk to my lawyer and see what kind of options we have, in my situation. Thank you and God Bless You and All Veterans.

    Respectfully,

  11. Hello comrade's

I was looking for a answer about my appeal I won back in July 2014. Who can I make contact with, or should wait a little while longer? I haven't heard from the regional office in St. Petersburg, Florida yet. Up until now it has been seven months now. I hope I will hear something soon. I pray this week. My appeal started back in November 2008. I had my hearing April 2014, then received the big brown envelope July 2014. Could any one tell me what should I do next for my situation with the VA regional office?

    Respectfully,

  12. I hope for all, the claims or appeals land in a ex vet hand or a very caring person, who has a heart for helping and not hindering veterans from getting their due va rewards. Keep working and working, until you get what is suppose to be awarded for your service to this Great Country. I won my appeal back in July 2014 for ptsd and panic disorder and I am still waiting to hear from the regional office now. It has been seven long months. Is the road close to the end? I pray and hope so! Me and my wife and kids could use some good news for a change. And many other vets out there could too.

  13. I won my appeal for Entitlement to Ptsd and panic attack disorder. And won a reopening for a claim on generalized anxiety disorder and panic. I received my yellow envelope back in July 2014. My original claim date is November 2008 and the reopening claim award goes back to 2006. Again, I also would like to know what does this statement means from the BVA stating, " a full grant of benefits sought be award." Anyone can help me understand the lingo by the bva? I AM STILL WAITING FOR A RESPONSE FROM THE REGIONAL OFFICE, THIS IS MY SEVENTH MONTH. I Need help with this and one day I want to return the favor and help another veteran too. A reply is appreciated and the reply from all, I can't THANK YOU ENOUGH!

  14. Thank You Moderator for welcoming me to Hadit.com and to all my fellow veterans, let us fight the good fight! Well, to answer your question Gastone, my appeal I won was for PTSD and Panic Attacks Disorder. I received my yellow envelope back in July 2014. My claim started back in November 2008. Like I stated previously, I haven't heard from the regional office in St. Petersburg, Florida at all. It has been seven months and counting. Oh, I forgot to mention that I also was granted reopening of a claim for generalized anxiety disorder and panic attacks from 2006. What does that mean for me? The statement in my package from the BVA says to give me a FULL GRANT of benefits sought. What does that mean also. Everyones insight and advice is helping me and my family get the best information I need to get my won appeals expedited. THANKS BERTA AND GASTONE AND PETE53.
