  1. Sue, I would send it again. While you wait, it can't hurt.
  2. Thank you for the IRIS tip. I sent them en email today. God bless you.
  3. I feel your pain. I had a C&P done in September 2012 for a "Service Connected" Lumbar Strain increase due to the fact that VA Clinic MRI showed 2 hurniated disk and DDD. I have had several flare ups and severe back and leg pain (sciatica). I recently logged on to ebenefits to check on the status of the claim and it has not moved from the gathering evidence phase. The site list the documents (I sent) that were received but it also shows that they are waitng for documents from "I don't know where". This is amazingly frustrating! I am SC for lumbar strain and have many instances of treatment for it in my military medical record. As soon as the condition became worse, I went to the VA for treatment and MRI. The VA has the treatment records, the MRI records, and all the appointment results, including the C&P. I have no idea how I could have made this any easier for the decison makers at the VA. And, to add insult to injury, the ebenefits site shows no forward progress in my case. So SueEdel I guess we wait....
  4. I am new to this forum, and decided to check out some success stories in order to keep my hopes up. I am glad to read that you had some positive results. It is easy to get discouraged reading many of the other topics. It seems there is more battling with the VA for earned benifts than VETS recieving the help they earned. Can anyone shed light on the ebenits website problems? It has not worked at all for me, but I have read that other VETS are able to use the site.
  5. I am new to the forum and I find it helpful to read the post on here. It tells me what to expect from the VA in terms of response to claims. I have a claim in for back pain that the VA Dr. and MRI determined to be hurniated disk and DDD. Its been 4 months since the C&P exam and I have not seen anything on the ebenfits page. However, after reading some of the post on here, I don't expect to see any information on the ebefits website. I am s.c. for lumbar strain at 10% and my C&P was for an increase due to the condition becoming much worse. I was a builder in the USN SeaBees and was on active duty for 15 years. I hurt my back a few times while doing construciton work. I transfered to the reserves and I have a year to go to reach the 20 year mark. I may not make it to retirement bc of my back condition...I can no longer pass the PT test and I am not deployable, so I am looking at a Med board soon.
