  1. congrats hopefully you get that retro soon!
  2. My E-Benefits just got updated from 30% to 70% just waiting on the retro to hit my bank account. Also going to call tomorrow so I can get an audit set up for the back pay on my Meds that I have been paying for the past few years.
  3. Congratulations! Enjoy the retro
  4. actually they called from the 888-442-4551 number because it was already saved on my phone when it showed up it Said VA lol. So if anyone on this site doesn't have that number saved as a contact, i would recommend saving it just in case! yeah i love all the information that is provided here. It is a alot more useful then my lawyer or random google searches trying to learn about VA Service connected benefits..
  5. I have missed 300 hours a work per year for the last few years in a row. I currently exhausted all vacation and sick leave with my current state of short term disability while waiting for SSDI. My job is already a sedentary job which the psychiatrist agreed to my PTSD/bipolar disorder that it would be extremely difficult for me to hold a full time job and he was surprised I was able to.
  6. My last day of work was on April 24. On April 25th I filed for SSDI and short term disability through my employer. I actually did file for TDIU before getting my 70% increase so I just happened to just have good timing. My current psychiatrist is going to help me with anything that i need regarding permanent disability for TDIU/SSDI purposes. As for the rater directly calling me, I assume my email to Allison hicks/Robert McDonald was the reason why? Not sure actually.
  7. I sent an email to Allison Hickey and Robert McDonald. A day after the email Allison Hickey responded who said she forwarded the case to the Director of the LA regional Office. I still have couple upcoming exams for Sleep Apnea and possible Asthma, hopefully that will help me award TDIU.
  8. HEY GUYS/GIRLS I AM SOOOOO HAPPPY TODAY. LONG TIME LURKER, I DO NOT POST MUCH. I ACTUALLY FORGOT I EVEN MADE THIS ACCOUNT. WELL A FEW HOURS AGO I GOT A PHONE CALL FROM VA REGIONAL OFFICE THAT MY APPEAL FROM 2012 WAS INCREASED FROM 30% TO 70%. SO THAT MEANS 3 YEARS OF BACKPAY. ALSO THE VA PERSON WORKING ON MY CASE SAID SHE WILL TALK TO MY EMPLOYER AND BASED ON THAT CONVERSATION WILL MAKE A DECISION IF I AM APPROVED FOR TDIU. OVERALL GREAT NEWS AND I AM SO HAPPY THIS SITE HELPED OUT A BUNCH!!!
  9. Oh wow after browsing this forum on and off for the past couple months, it looks like claims are moving alot faster recently. Congrats brother and good luck in the future!
  10. Great success story here, I love the perseverance shown by you over the years, now enjoy the sense of relief and less headaches from here on out!
  11. Hey, this is my first post on Hadit.com but I have been browsing this forum on and off for the past few months. I am a service-connected vet rated @ 30%, since I was discharged from Active Duty from the Marines in 2003. I should have filed to increase long time ago, but unfortunately I did not have the knowledge or any clue on what to do. According to E-benefits my increase was dated as of 10/31/2012. The expected time of completions states is 10/16/2013 to 05/01/2014. Just recently in the actions area I see a link that says upload documentation. It is on the Under Review portion. I have a 2 part question. Do I need to actually upload any documentation via E-Benefits. Also I have read a bunch of threads and it looks like increases more or less will take 24 months minimum. So the timeline that is listed I am assuming it will be beyond that? Any help I would definitely appreciate. Cheers
