  1. Im having trouble too I really want to upload documents from the va but I cant figure it out
  2. I will be posting all of my va correspondence to date as soon as i figure out how to upload i have all the original award letters on a flash drive.
  3. Thank you for the comments you all have vast amounts of knowledge and for that i am thankful and for your willingness to help guidecme. The exam prior to ets is when i brought the issues up the claim date is Sep 8th 2003. I finished my time and ets Nov 20th 2003 and receoved a rating decission dated Feb 13 2004. At that point my hip claim and lower back claim were both deferred for additional development . They said a decision will not be made until we review additional evidence. I never heard from the va on these claims entill the end of 2013 when i received the increase on another claim dated nov 21 2013. In this rating packet the va stated review of my claims folderrevealed these issues are still outstanding. They also state they continue deferral of decissionpending compketion of all development. They also apologize for any inconvenience . I have both of my original rating packets one from 2003 and one from 2013 proving the va dropped the ball and never completed my claims.i was suprissed to see administrative review on ebenefits for my two claims that were mia for a decade.
  4. I was an infantry grunt and complained of lower back and hip pain discomfort at my c and p exam in southkorea a month before my ets. I never went to sick call for these issues because were supposed to suck it up and drive on. My question is how will the va view my claims seeing that i have no evidence of complaints in my smr except for the exam prior to ets. Are the c and p exam complaints considered evidence since the exam was before my ets?
  5. Ok so i think at this point i need to go see a doctor andcget a diagnosis for my hip and back . At that point what should i do send it to my regional office? I believe my i.jury is from heavy lifting of mortar tubes and other heavy equipment while i was in a mechanized infantry unit that wgen i started noticing the pain at my first duty station.
  6. Also i do not have a copy of the c and p exam that took place in korea how would i go about obtaining that?
  7. This claim was filed in September 2003 prior to my ets. I do not see anything in my smr but i can tell you i believe it has to do with my knee and was also aggravated by my service i had no back or hip pain prior to my enlistment. Im a driver now and need to change my job sooner than later because it is causibg me pain shifting gears my hip clicks and pops. When you ets they ask you or have you write down any medical compain that is when i expressed my complaint. Thank you for your input i feel lost but you are sheding lots of light.
  8. I could not afford insurance so i have no documentation in addition when i told my doctor at the va about my pain he said ice and Ibp so i gave up on the va helping me with this issue.
  9. Yet another question. I looked through my medical records and i have no complaints of hip or lower back pain. I can tell you why it is because i sucked it up and drove on. However at my medical exam prior to ets i told the doctor of my hip and lower back pain and it was filed as two seperate claims one for lower back pain and one for left hip disorder. Is that proof that the medical condition existed since my complaint was before my ets. I have no other medical evidence of these claims i have just lived with it. Any advice? Thank you.
  10. I also have a posting on this the title is ten year forgotten claim. Im new to this I put some information on there I don't know how to direct you to it.
  11. thank you very much for the information. I cant find anything in my medical records where I complained about my hip or lower back hurting. I can tell you why. I was an infantry grunt and it is frowned upon big time if you go to sick call. I did however make a point to tell the doctor at my exam before my ETS and that is how my claim started. Is that enough since I stated it then and had not ETS yet? I had mentioned it to the doctor at the va here in town years ago and got the response ice and IBP, even though it hurts I just gave up on the va. What should , do I need to do? Thank you very much!!
  12. John I have not filed a CUE I don't even know what that is. basically I have claims that have went unprocessed since September 2003 and now the va has said sorry for any inconvenience and is looking into the claims. you can see my other response. I don't know what to do!
  13. Thank you very much for your response! I have another question. I I received my rating decision packet which was dated February 13 2004. In this packet my claim for lower back pain and left hip disorder, a sentence reads as follows. A decision regarding your claims listed below will not be made until we review additional evidence. I never heard anything from the VA after this point in regards to my claims that were not rated. I did tell my doctor at the VA about my pain and the answer was always take IBP and ice the area that hurts. In my updated rating packet dated nov 21 2013 on the second page a section reads What We Decided under that it states my new percentage of 20% for my left shoulder and then under that it says. The deferral of a decision on entitlement to compensation is continued. it says the same thing for my left hip disorder. Under this it says the review of your claims folder revealed these issues are still outstanding . We have therefore continued the deferral of a decision on entitlement to compensation for these issues pending the completion of all development you will be informed of our actions. We apologize for any inconvenience. So it seems to me that they have not denied the claims at least not yet. If they find that I do have a left hip disorder and lower back pain do I get back pay from the original date of the claim which is September 8 2003? What should I do?
  14. Hi I served three years in the Army from 2000-03 as a 11c with an honorable discharge. I ets from camp casey korea and had filled a claim during my exit exam for my left knee and left shoulder. Both were approved for tendonitis and i was rated at 20 %. At the time of my exam i also complained of lower back and hip pain on my left side. I belived it was due to my left knee. We were road marching and running a lot in korea, thats what the infantry does. In 2004 when i got my 20% rating for my knee and shoulder the claim for lower back and hip pain were deferred.Fast forward in jan 2013 i went to the county vso and had them help me file for an increase for my shoulder it has continually gotten worse. The claim took a year and at the end i was granted 30%. The weird thing is when i received my rating in the mail the old claims were addressed stating we see that your claims for lower back pain and hip pain in nov 2003 are unresolved, sorry for any inconvenience. Online on e benefits the claims for lower back pain and left hip pain just appeared one day and are in administrative review. Also online the claim date Changed now to 2013 instead of 2003. My question is what do i make of this what do i do?
