  1. Forgot the name of surgery but they will open that sinus cavity an clean all the yucky stuff in there. They also said it could be contributing to my horrible migraines. Never thought anything about it until I received some old medical records from st Louis an for about 3 years I suffered quite a bit.
  2. I just found medical records that said that i had real bad sinus infection off an on for 5 yesrs. I had an mri done in feb 15 for severe headaches an they saw that one of my sinus cavity is completely closed an will require surgery to fix this problem. Can I claim this? Thanks for any input.
  3. I just received some medical records from St Louis stating that ive had several bouts of severe sinusitis. I now have a blocked sinus cavity thats causing alot of problems. Can I claim this? I was shocked about the blocked sinus cavity (which will require surgery to fix but now these old medical records have shine some light into it. Any input on these two topics would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Hi Thanks for responding, no im not working an my exam is schedule for end of month. Just trying to see what I needed to add.
  5. Hi Im currently at 60% sc rating (lower back severe ddd, severe migraines, r/knee) as of July 2014 i found out that I have ddd in my upper back an a rupture disc in my neck tapping on my spinal cord which is causing severe pain. How can I link the two together? Im trying to get 100% tui, I do receive ssi which was grantedl from my sc medical documentation an I will be 60 in february. Do anyone think I would have a chance to get tui from my c n p exam? Thanks in advance for any input.
  6. The ssi is based on all the medical paperwork i turned in from the va. Ssi doesnt give you a rating it from how much you put into the system while you were working. Im not able to work thats why im applying for tui. I hope the va will approve it but I kniw it will be difficult. When I applied for ssi they knew I was getting a disability check from the va.
  7. Hi Im currently receiving ssi an i have applied for tui, do I need to send a copy of my award letter to the va? Right now im at 60% an will be turning 60 in feb. I have two supporting letters from my orthopedic doctor an my primary doctor stating that I cant work. I have a ruptured disc in neck an avasical necrosis in left shoulder that was diagnosis last year. Can my new health issues be link to my orginal claim which is severe ddd an ruptured disc in lumbar. Ive had three back surgeries. Would like to know how to handle this part of my claim. Thanks for any input.
  8. Thanks for responding, im not able to work. I was approved for ssi. Im at 60% an 40% is for my back an the rest is for several other things. I just know that now im having alot of pain with the rest of my back. Didnt know if I could put the two together. Once again thanks.
  9. I hurt my lower back while in the military L5/5 an S1 Severe DDD Ive had three back surgeries an hanging in there as much as I can with the pain. Ive had an mri for cervical spine an now have DDD with a annular bulge in every disc, also have rupture disc in C5/C6 thats touching my spinal cord (moderate ddd) . My question is can I make a claim for this seeing how all of this was diagnosis in July 2014? Thanks for any input.
  10. Thanks to all that replied, yes the ssi was all connected to my military injuries. Please continue to pray fir me an my prayers will be with you.
  11. Thanks for responding, it was my orthopedic doctor fron the Va that said the ddd could be responsible for the avn. I did not fall into none of the categories for this to happen, we all were shocked when my test results came back. You can imagine my reaction when he said you have a dead bone in your arm! I will do more reserch like you suggested. Once again thanks for the input.
  12. I was diagnosed with avasical necrosis in my left arm, the bone has died an I need a complete shoulder replacement. I don't have none of symptoms that cause this which is blood lost to that joint. Ortho specialist stated that it could happen because of ddd I have in my back, lower an upper spine. I injured my back while i was in the military, do you think I will be able to claim this avasical necrosis now that's associated with my ddd? Also they found an ossified old rupture dics in C5-C6 that is just now giving me fits. Can an old injury be claim thats not in your medical records? Any opinion will be appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
  13. Thanks to all that replied, yes the ssi was all connected to my military injuries. Please continue to pray fir me an my prayers will be with you.
  14. Hi Thanks for responding, currently im at 60% for va. Since that rating(4 yrs ago) ive have been diagnose with several more disabilities (severe depression, avn, rupture disc in neck an advance white matter disease which is causing severe headaches/mini strokes). I also have doctor statements stating that I will not be able to find employment. Do you think any of the above will help my case. I will be turning 60 in feb. Once again thanks for your input.
  15. I have been schedule for c n p exams to determine if i can be entitled to 100% for unemployability. My ssi was approved base off my va health records. Do you think the Va will take that into considerations for rating me 100%? Any feedback will be helpful.
  16. Thanks for your input, I was thinking the same thing. i will have thw test but not file a claim.
  17. Ok its 20% the percentage wasn't that important just need some feedback on the genetic disorder.
  18. I have a 15% rating for migraine an have had several small strokes. I just found out that my sister has cadisil a genetic disorder in the brain that causes strokes an dementia(there is no cure). If my test comes back positive can I claim this? I now know what is causing the problems now with the strokes an migraine. How should I handle this, all comments will be helpful.
  19. Hello everyone, Just got my results in from a MRI on my upper back. It says; old left paramedian disc herniation C5-C6 is ossified an abuts the cervical cord. What does that mean? Also states significant adnormality, attn needed. If someone can give me a clue what I'm facing it will be helpful. Thanks in advance.
  20. Thanks for the response.. I was approved for ssi an thinking about filing for unemployability .
  21. Because of health issues I will.be moving in with my son who have a 70% rating an an I have a 40% rating. Can my son claim me as a dependent ? Can't live alone any more. Thanks
  22. I.could no longer do a lot of my job description , they had to put ramps on the vans which I was told "because of you we had to spend some money" on a daily bases, then the doctor tighten up on the physical side an said no lifting over five pounds, no prolong sitting, standing or stooping on my job, which was the recreation field. The next thing I knew I was terminated for using the city credit card which I got permission but my supervisor said he didn't say that. I have a real dislike for those folks!
  23. I'm submitting my claim for unemployable, do I.have to submit that 21-4192 to my last employer? The reason I asked is that I was terminated from my job, after I left I was approved for ssi. There is a workers comp suit pending about this case. I would rather not send anything to them if you think the ssi will help my case. Any thoughts will be helpful.
