JUST GOT MY C&P EXAM BACK TODAY AND IT READS,based on data reviewed here and its congruency with information on possibile side affects of methocarbamol and diclofenac , it is least as likely as not(50/50 probility) that the veteran, current complaints of stomach problems and acid reflux are related to pain and muscle relaxer (sic) medication prescribed for service connection right shoulder disability. I belive that i have won this claim,but i welcome any input from anyone.What do you think?

Just recieved a copy of my c&p exam today and IT READS (STANDARD MEDICAL OPINION) THE CONDITION/DISIBILITY is it as least likely as not that the veteran's current complaint of stomach problems and acid reflux are related to pain and muscle relaxer medication precribed for sc right shoulder disability? IS AS LEAST LIKELY AS NOT (50/50 PROBABILITY)CAUSED BY OR A RESULT OF STOMACH PROBLEMS AND ACID REFLUX. MY QUESTION IS WILL THIS OPINION HELP ME WIN MY CLAIM .
  7. Today I saw my mental health professional and guy is good he told me that pain causes depression and that depression makes the pain worse. So i listened as we put a plan of action in place which call for physical activity and medication like prozac and tramadol. So i plan to try this and see what happens,aside from the fact that the VA is willing to treat my illness but is unwilling to compensate me for the same illness. Question How do i force them to give a MH C&P Exam.
  8. Today I received My progress notes from my MH provider I decide to seek treatment for depression and chronic pain syndrome . This is the DSM IV Diagnostic Impression of me. Axis I Major Depression Axis II Diagnosis Deffered Axis III Chronic Axis IV Employed Axis V GAF 60 My question is this enough to petition the VA for a proper C&P Exam for depression/chronic pain syndrome Secondary to my service connected injuries.
  9. Today I was diagnosed with gerd and tuesday ihave a c and p exam for gerd. secondary to rt shoulder injury and nsaids.will my diagnoses for gerd help me at my c and p exam?
  10. TOday I had a ugi exam for gerd and the doctor ststes that I have gerd and my mh doctor states that I have major depression pain syndrom with a gaf score of 60.

  13. Today i received a letter from the va and it reads .We ask the VA medical facility nearest you to schedule you for an examination in connection with your claim. They will notify me of the date ,time ,and place.
  14. Official statement from the mri service. Impression: 1 Degenerative findddings of the left shoulder. 2 Abnormal signal within the distal portion of the infraspinatus and supraspinatus tendons. very small tears at their insertions cannont be excluded. fluid collection along the posterior portion of the glenoid and the labrum suspicious for labral tear-periosteal avulsion in this region. will this statement help establish bilateral sc?
  15. No the increase was for the right shoulder.the mri was for the left shoulder.
  16. Just received a letter today from my VA Doctor : The shoulder mri showed an abnormality there are some small tears in the tendons it also showed arthritis of your shoulder. what should i do next?

  18. Today i received a letter that deffered my claim for stomach problem and acid reflux secondary to my service connected disability.Their statement is we need more information or evidence.WHEN,WHERE,WHAT AND HOW DO I WIN ? HELP PLEASE
  19. Today i just received an official letter from the wizard = VA they determined that the folling condition has worsened so we granted an increase in your assigned percentage. From 20 to 30 percent for a shoulder seperation.and they deffered my claim for stomach problems and acid reflux secondary to service connected disibilities(claimed as secondary to medication for pain.) MY OVERALL OR COMBINED RATING IS 40 PERCENT.
  20. No Ive been dx for depression before but this is the first time finally dx for chronic pain disorder.
  21. I saw the psychologist yesterday and his progress notes read . DX IMP: Recurring depression/chronic pain syndrome. Does this help my claim for depression and chronic pain syndrome?

    I belive that I just got an increase from 20 to 30 precent with back pay. It reads Entitlement to an increase evaluation for service connected disibility is deferred. which is 20 percent to 30 percent effective july 2009. what does this mean?
  23. just received an appointment to see the mental health doctor on Tuesday for a new gaf score. I'm hoping for a diagnoses of pain disorder/depression secondary to my service connected disability . any advise?
