Also, I forgot to mention that there is a device that has been approved for the FDA in alleviating the symptoms of CTS. I am in no way, shape, or form affiliated with the device or manufacturer so hopefully this post does not get deleted by moderators. But it has helped me at night, when CTS is worse, and I figured I'd share it with you. It is called CTRAC for CTS. It's basically a device that can be used on both hands and the intended purpose is to stretch the ligament that pushes against the median nerve in the wrists. So it acts as a sort of "release therapy" without the surgery. I have been using it for about 3 full weeks now and have noticed a significant difference in my non-dominant hand and a difference in my dominant hand that makes CTS more manageable. It's still there but the tingling and numbing have gone down significantly at night and during the daytime. It might be something to look into for whatever it may be worth.

Wait a minute you've been unemployed since when??? I still think you can file a CUE for not being considered for IU once the 1 for 60% or multiple service connected disabilities at the 70% took effect. My last two decisions the IU paperwork were included and decision for IU was denied because I am still employed but in his case this should have been considered.

JMO, I would look in to filing CUE on that decision, at the very least research the issue, however an NOD would do the trick but only on the most recent decision. I mean, you could file the NOD and then file for the earlier effective date but when was the exact date you fell below the sustainable income marker? Or are you in a similar predicament as I am with working? I meet the percentage markers but my work status denies me IU and even if I got canned today, with service connected conditions being the reason, theres the whole waiting period crap.

I clicked the Dang button 3 weeks ago and nothing don't yet. Have been at the Prep for Decision phase for over 2 months, and there is no Estimated date on claim, due to VA stating my claim is more complex than normal claims what the heck. A few have had luck with this new Button, but not me. Well good luck

There has to be a more efficient way. I am barely making ends meet. 7 kids, a wife and home--VA could care less if I start going into deep debt and get foreclosed--once you are homeless though they give a S#%&. Don't make sense. I have in writing where my doctors told me do not go to work-anywhere--period--"you're a trainwreck waiting"--I am following the recommendations. Another told me " you are one fall or slip on the ice" away from being paralized for life (the result of over 400 parachute jumps). It don't make sense. Can't draw unemployment either-- and to add insult to injury no state will accept me as a resident--go figure. I know I am one of THOUSANDS in the same shape. I don't even know if I'll get anything--but it sure would be nice to know in a timely manner so I can pursue other options--if I have to go to work somewhere then I must-but if I dont follow VA medical opinion then I am "non-conformant"---blows my mind---the Gov't NEVER waited on me--EVER
