When I reached 60%, I dropped my private health insurance...still keep health insurance on my wife. I get as good as or better treatment at my va hosp. then I did from private dr's..

Had an NP write a letter in support for a claim....Had a meeting with the va rep, who upon reading it, said " this letter holes no weight, she is an NP. if it were written by a MD, then it would hold weight.....Get a letter from your doctor.....in other words
an c/p exam by a NP is useless....

The first VSO I had (Vietnam Veterans of America ) was stationed at the same location, only six months before me...He was the one who told me about the big spill....At our first meeting he asked were I was stationed...after telling him, His next words were " HOME RUN"....
-
Go to the va site above, read it....
I'm rated at 90% for all Agent Orange illiness.....You may have not been sprayed...I wasn't.. but my location in VN, 50,000 gal of AO was spilled, and they mixed it into the dirt to make the roads around the post, and I walked thru it every day...
good luck..

Thanks guys..... I'm already 60% for Artery disease... and I don't have PTSD... but all is related to AO...
-
Looking for an approved claim for Hypertension as secondary to an approved Artery disease claim. or a claim approving both together....
-
Having been thru this in 2007... you have to send in the form you got with your approval letter to the va to have them stamp it, then you give the stamped form to the dealer... it took six months for me to get the form back stamped from the va when I first sent it in.....the dealer got his money in about a week..

If your 100% in New Jersey, you have no property tax. Just take your 100% letter from the va, and present it to the tax collector, they will make a copy of the letter, and the next cycle your taxes are due, then it stops. An assemblyman in NJ introduced a bill to have any veteran with any percentage to have your property tax reduced by that amount. Utah already has this.... Your compensation is tax free..

In New Jersey...If your 100%...you pay no property tax...
-
I did this, and had no problem with the dealer, he got payment in 24 hrs.... it was his first time, find another dealer, dealers are dying out there for your business...
He wrote several loan contracts just incase it didn't work..How can you have insurance and a car payment on a car you do not own? Sounds like fraud..
-
Mine told me......the va gives them free rent....
-
worked for me...

See below for va court case for approval for hypertension as secondary to approved diabetes 2
-
The reason you send it return receipt.....is the person at the va who picks up the mail, has to sign for it.....
-
whoa.......i can get my property taxes waived??? ...you can if you are 100% in New Jersey....no property taxes .....
-
The C & P examiner purpose is to be the out side person looking at your case.. Take all your latest doctors letters and medical info with you and give it to them, because they have not seen the latest item's you have filed....
-
Filing a claim by yourself (unless you understand how the system works) is a no no..you should be using a VSO to file for you. Then when it becomes beyond a VSO's ability.....get a va lawyer...
a lot of the stories you hear about "I've been waiting for years" was filed by the person....
-
Here's is a va court case that was approved for hypertension as secondary to diabetes type 2.
-
But.....if you have diabetes 2, and been approved for it, then a claim for hypertension is a no brainer filing this court decision with your claim........forget what DR peake says about he's not making hypertension a presumptive for AO....every vietnam vet I talk to has hypertension....
