  1. Well, Voc Rehab said i'm a no go for the program due to my disabilities. So what's that mean for me now?
  2. I'm changing because the one i'm with now doesn't do anything for me, he tried to talk me out of appealing even, and i've pretty well done the majority of my claim myself. Plus everyone i talk to about him says they've had trouble with him too. The older gentlemen i've talked to tell me to go to the DAV, so i'm going to switch over to there, because anything is better then what i'm getting.
  3. How do i change service officers. The one i'm using, for lack of better words. SUCKS!
  4. I'm 40% S/C right now. I was wondering if i should enroll into voc rehab? I haven't worked since the end of 07, ptsd gets the best of me on a daily basis. I honestly don't think it will help me. I've applied for IU, got denied that, but have an appeal in. Any advice?
  5. The appeal is at the RO awaiting a de novo review. For an increase for my PTSD. I have a doctor IMO, and a sworn statement from a family member.
  6. It would be for the same claim that's being appealed, I have new evidence in hand.
  7. Sounds good! Thanks! I'll get that form and all my recent records together so i can have a real nice increase claim.
  8. Is there a form for filing an increase? What all should i attach for further evidence?
  9. Adding to this thread as not to start another. My VA letter says i'm supposed to be reviewed this month, well this month is more then half way through, and i've heard nothing at all from the VA. Who can i call to see if i'm still getting one?
  10. That came back denied. About a month after i sent in. Now going through a NOD with de novo review. I have a letter from the VA saying my next review is scheduled for March of 2011. I'll just wait and see what happens then i guess.
  11. Not sure if this would go here or not. I sent in for a reconsideration in May of 2010. The VA said nothing will be done until a new review in March of 2011. I also have a NOD that i sent in Dec. 2010. Just wondering if the NOD will defer my new C&P or not?
  12. Thanks Berta, i understand what's going on now. I haven't recieved anything back yet. I have sent in all the evidence i have, from doctors letters to meds that i'm on and how they affect my day to day life, plus everything in between. Broncovet, i see the numbers on there, the person on the other end of my claim either dislikes me or their job one. Lol Carlie, thanks for the site. That's a good read.
  13. Is there anyway to get a sooner c&p exam done? I'm not scheduled til march, that seems to long for me. Maybe i could fill in a cancellation
  14. Yes, both names are signed at the end. Ok, well i'll mention the meds next appointment. Thanks! Would this letter be good to send to Social Security as well?
  15. Hurry up and wait!

Yep, hurry up and wait,, dammit...

  16. Won't my VA records be fine for that? I'll have other VA records attached with GAF score and a med list with side effects.
  17. Here is a letter i got from my doctor to send to the VARO. My name is -------------- Ph. D. and i'm a psychological resident at the Harry S truman memorial veterans hospital. As a member of PTSD clinical team, i have acted as the primary provider for mental health services for (my name) under the supervision of Dr. --------- Licensed psychologist in the state of MO. This veteran has attended eleven psycholtherapy sessions, from dec 2009 to present day, in order to asses trauma related anxiety symptoms and their impact on his daily functioning. At the time of initial assesment, (my name) reported significant change in his emotional and behavioral funcitioning from his pre-deployment history. He indentifies his index trauma as being exposed to an IED during his deployment to iraq from april to november 2005. At the time of initial assesment, (my name) identified symptoms consistant with DSM IV-TR reexperiencing, arousal, and avoidance diagnostic criteria for PTSD. A nexus was established between his anxiety symptoms and his combat index trauma. (my name) trauma related anxiety symptoms have been found to interfere with this veteran's cognitive, socail, family, mood, school, and work functioning. Specifically, the veteran reported attempting to attend classes at a local junior college after returning from deployment, but withdrew due to poor concentration and overwhelming anxiety related to his sense of vulnerability in public places. At this time he reports symptoms of panic and agoraphobia that interferes with his ability to interact socially or within a work setting. He also reports low self-image and little interset in formally pleasurable activities. He also reports little if any social contact due to overwhelming hypervigilance and fear of panic in public places. Across treatment sessions the veteran has worked to improve his ability to cope with these symptoms, but struggles to maintain the gains he achieves. Given his symptom presentaion, I have diagnosed (my name) with PTSD based on his combat trauma. This trauma occured in 2005 during his deployment to irag as a memeber of the US Marine corps. Furthermore, the arousal and avoidance symptoms this veteran presents with having significant negative consequences on his social, family, school, work, mood, and cognitive functioning.
  18. I haven't worked for almost 3 years because of my condition. The meds keep getting higher doses to keep up with me. And psychologist notes should say my condition has worsened since filing. I've talked to my VSO about it, and he wants to get the claim started started. I'm also going to talk to both my psychologist and psychiatrist about it.
  19. Where can I the TDIU form at? I got SC 40% total last month, 0% hearing loss right ear, 10% tinnitus, 30% PTSD (appealing this rating). But have since read that you do not need 70% to file IU. Have also applied for SSD. Thanks in advance!
  20. Any place preferred in missouri to get an IMO done?
