BUT i COULD BE WRONG... i AHVE SEEN A gaf 0F 50 GET A 70% AND A gaf OF 40 GET 50% DISABILITY.. AGAIN GOOD LUCK

I think NO, the VA will award the claims as they should by established regulations for the Heart disease.. The file here that you can download will show you the percentages one would get, according to METS, and other scores . Read the file closely and you will have an Idea where they will be scoring, most IHD claims will be awarded at 60 % as per the regulations that have been in place several years... Any vet that has IHD gets the same no matter if it is AO or because they were state side and had heart problems S4_104.doc

What will be the Retro DATE , for vets that have filed the very first time for the three Presumptive AO claims ? Nothing in the proposed rules as I can find

GAF of 52 may be a 50% on one guys scale, or a 30% on another scale, and then again a 70% on another examiners scale he uses in his mind... Then aganin I have read the the GAF is not to be used as a actual result for the disability % the GAF is supposed to be used as one of the tools and the rest of the other 4 other AXIS Flip a coin..... or wait..

********* call your clinic and get an appointment, then ask her if you have IHD... if she says yes, or is unsure then ask for several tests to be taken The MUGA, and the Cardio sonigram are the easiest... no hard stuff, just takes an hour for the MUGA and 45 minutes for sonigram of heart.. Get those done then go from there..

I am not convinced of that, but I do remember they all had someone to help them tie their boots up...

with what you stated, if your doctor will give you several tests to verify if if NOT you have any IHD... Cardiac Ultrasound, Tread Mill test, a MUGA, and or one more if the guidelines fall in to a blood flow rate of so many METS you may qualify. Without results that point our a certain amount of loss of blood flow, you probably are out of luck, I suggest you hope you are well.... I'd trade places with a guy with a whole heart today.. my anterior part is dead.....a nice chunk.... Read the file attached to see the qualifications for percentages of disability and to see if your METS SCORE is enough to qualify, it is your turn to read and learn.... I remember he told me the VSO made a big deal out of that in the paper work he sent in, warning the VA that the retro date was Feb 09. The question is why TWO PTSD Exams ? Not a sole I talked to or my buddy has asked the two VSO in the County office if they ever heard oof this, all say,, never seen that before...

**************************************************************************** MY buddy had his first claim denied, about 7 months later his VSO and I both talked him into getting an IMO, the VSO gave him the contact he went there 8 times and was diagnosis with modeate PTSD With a GAF of 40. He had his VSO do the appeal, then had the 1 st PTSD C&P two weeks ago. He was told at the time by the Examiner that he had severe PTSD. The examiner told him that lookg through the file, that the VA had requested a second PTSD C&P.... He got and exam time in first part of April for the second PTSD C&P> ( The IMO was from a professional that works with Veterans and has a Private practice with Veterans with PTSD) My buddy is a combat veteran two purple hearts and a CAR

88888 Navy Field CORPSMAN ARE THE VERY BEST AND BRIGHTEST..... not like the slow slugs in the hospital... Field Corpsman work as hard or harder than any one and are great to know....... At our BN. reunion they are treated like the best of the best, they usually pay for nothing at the reunion, the guys foot the bill out of their pockets, and as such total and complete respect, and thanks is shown.....several died while doing thier job.... trying to keep us alive....

I convinced him to call C&P , the C&P People told him they found a request for a second exam for PTSD, so he got one scheduled for 5april, I told him to get it over, no matter how much he does not want to go.. I may take him if I see he is reluctant

***************** did you read the proposed rules, as I read i they are directed to follow the rules Nehmer.... I could be wrong or a Rating Officer ignores the Nehmer rules..... then you appeal with gusto

The C&P people want new METS unless you have test done in last 6 months or so ( C&P wants new tests, if for no other reason than to crew with you )... the GUY I saw at C&P got all wound up with tests when VA regulation deny /forbid them from using various tests on me , because of my ICD, I never mention that, but was waiting for him to try... then I was prepared to scream foul and show ignorant they were about their own regulations. BY the way, if they use the CFR 38 4.104 I also get the 100% P&T just because of the ICD, as required in the CFR. Jeff, by the way... you have to come to the reunion big boy, I got my round trip tickets....

I filed 26Oct2009 sent all evidence in with two private Dr. statement says I had IHD, and did the IHD C&P 2 months ago........ Most guys with IHD will get 60% rating, unless you have very special conditions...... read the regs that they probably will use S4_104.doc

"I would suggest you read the proposed rules, all is there for you to see and understand However, the 60 day proposed rules are on registry , then the comment period of 30 days, then,,, how ever long it takes the VA to finally publish the rule, the FINAL rules that will run the new presumptive ( however, there is some language that may allow the VA to hedge this time table, it is there for everyone to figure out.. I gave up )
