  1. I'm new the Forum and in need of help. I recently retired from the army with 23 yrs of service. Two months now. I recieved a rating of 40%. I had a back injury two years ago and it was diagnosed as a lumbar strain. I've been taking muscle relaxants, and carambol for it. It extremely painful, more so after sleepin. And feet are numb in the morning.Hard to lift . I went to my doctor and then sent to a specialist. He said that I had inflammation in my back and needed to come back twice a week. He's a chiropactor. I'm waiting for the results of the xrays. I know it's more than a lumbar strain. I went to va to talk to my doctor for the first time, she stayed she would request my xrays from my doctor. My question is how do I go about submitting for a increase. I was rated at 10% for the lumbar strain. 10
