hookrunner
Vietnam Campaign does not use any extra stars . That was a one time medal from the S.Vietnam Goverment to U.S. service men and women. Vietnam SERVICE medal was issued for different campain dated you served in country. The bronze stars are for different times of service/campaigns. When I had my medal updated they authroized one siver star to be added to the VnSM . This does not mean I was there 5 years only that Iwas there for 5 different campaigns. an old hadit friend of ours exhttp://p197.ezboard.com/fbrownwaternavyanddeltaarmyvietnamveteransfrm17.showMessage?topicID=4.topicplains this at
