Got a handout today from the psychologist at the VAMC. It states that the medication that has been prescribed for DMII to help diabetics regulate their glucose levels is no good. The drug is AVANDIA also known as Rosiglitazone (generic). Those who take it are 43% more likely to have a heart attack and 64% increased risk for cardiovascular-related death.

This is the drug they just increased by double for my husband :angry:

Maybe we should be filing a claim against GlaxcoSmith Kline? :)

This came from the VA- but no instructions as to keep taking, quit taking, or what? Anyone else have any information?

simply "They(the US Army)have guns, but so do we."

Sameo to us -They (VA) have 38 CFR ,38 USC, and M21-1- but so do we.
