Question

Went in for a C&P by QTC on July 2nd got certified letter yesterday that said my blood work showed Anemia and high glucose. I am SC for DB2 and secondary heart disease. Does this Anemia stuff figure in here or is it something I have to claim separate.

looks like I am falling apart big time.

I got a similar letter from a C&P done in 05. It was for my right ankle. MY left ankle is SC at 10%. I filed a claim for my right ankle and they SC'd as a secondary to my left ankle 0%. I am appealing this ruling but at least I got it SC'd. The left and right ankles have the same ROM but somehow the VARO didn't rate the right ankle at 10%. DJ 8

Stillhere,

Did you get your copy of the c&p from Roanoke, and see what the Examiner said? I requested mine in August the c&p was done in apr requested the c file with it in aug still don't have it. But I did get a rating from the the first claim in july, so when it did not have about 3 infered issues that the examiner talked about in the april exam. I submited a new claim in aug with new evidence and said it should have been an infered claim from the april c&p, it is now at rating board. So I would not wait on them to do it for you submit another claim, refrencing the c&p

Hey Boats,

I got the copy of the C&P on around the 10th of Jan. reguested it back in Nov I think. Gettting old with the memory. I thought they would address the anemia from the letter that they sent me but there is no mention in the C&P about it. I am thinking of bringing this up in a NOD.

What do you think?

Did it say anything in the C&P about it? and connect it to the DM II or heart? with a likely or not statement? if they did I would nod it or file a claim and refer to it as a infered claim from that c&p date could not hurt.

Sorry just reread and saw it was not in c&p. What did your primary care doc do for it? Did he say what the cause of it? I have it also plus high liver enzymes, pri care doc is sending me to gastro specialist matter of fact today. Don't know if it is all the meds for heart, dm II, and other problems take 16 different meds. \
