Right now, it s with the post determination team.

A special thanks to the Hadit members for their invaluable input.

Happy Thanksgiving

When I count my blessings I count my family and friends twice.

If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there.

Well done is better than well said.

>I called the AMC 800 status line, the AMC director's office and the office of the Under Secretay, Michael Walcoff and they all confirmed that it was decided yesterday. I do not know if the decision was approval or denial, but at least it's finally over with dealing with the AMC.

***************************************************

That's good news Paul and gives me a ray of hope.

I hope this works out for you. A finished claim is what we all need in order to go on with our lives.

I was told that my claim went to ratings Oct 10th, by the AMC 800 operator (James)last week when I called.

I couldn't tell you how many times i've heard this over the last decade, only to find out it's still in "ready to rate" status collecting dust.

He also said the claim was sent to another "contract" rating specialist.

Some of us manage to squeeze through such an adversary process and receive a decent evaluation. I hope yours is one of those. It would be good to hear someone that's been stalled wins one.

Happy thanks giving Paul and family......and everyone on the hadit.com board.

Allen, how long did this process take for you from start to completion?

if you don't mind me asking? RC

Hello RC,

Well, my claim has been on appeal at the BVA for the last 10 years.

My issues are a continuation of a 1977 claim.

Is that what you meant?

Completion? You mean theres an end to this madness?

I have better odds of seeing my coffin lid close, before I see a closure to my claim with the VA.

Paul,

I had a C&P last May in Buffalo and in August they raised my back from 20 to 40%. They told me that I would have a decision on the secondary conditions in a couple of weeks. My claim was filed in 2002. I haven't heard anything and all they tell me on the 800 number is it's in ratings. My car has been repo'd last week and I don't have enough money to give my kids christmas presents again this year. Is there someone I can call to get something done? I'm heard that if I call a congress or senator it will add 60 days to the waiting time. Not sure what to do anymore.
